Sweet, sweet serenity,
A sea of emotions; as vast as life,
Consumed by human gluttony,
Constantly, continuously creating strife,
What must we give to live in such luxury,
The death of our world, such is our destiny.
The pitter patter of plastic cups
The twists and turns of tarnished rocks
How harsh is the life of a little wolf pup
Being preyed on by seeking hawks
How lavish is life surrounded by technology
For a great cost; to make such industries
The waves rage on without a halt
With winds so strong it might be Kansas,
But the water found is filled with salt
To each their own, we craft our own canvas
Wishes, dreams, wants and needs
In nature we find what we need to succeed
Mother nature opens her arms out to all
So beautiful, serene and fabled
Technology has spun nature into a fall
Our past mistakes, is how we are labeled
