Ultra Boosts 3.0

Adidas dropped their third series Ultra Boosts last fall. The comfy, lightweight shoes made their comeback with better boost technology and a new variety of colours.

Boost Technology

The Ultra Boost technology is made of Phylon, the material used to create the sole and heel of the shoes. The two-inch thick support allows for maximum balance when training and running. This innovative technology was a major hit for customers who are flat-footed and struggled to find shoes that allowed them the same comfort

Colours and Price

For their third series release, Adidas dropped a whole new colourway. Their standard black, white and grey are now accompanied by pink, blue, purple, etc…

The shoes retail for around $230- $260. Since these can be sold at Foot Locker or Adidas, the price can vary. Understandably, they are on the pricier side, but for the quality you receive, it’s worth every penny! The shoes also come with an Adidas sticker; perfect for representing the brand.

Caring for your Shoes

Since Ultra Boosts are made of mesh and Phylon, it can sometimes be difficult to maintain the quality of the shoes. I recommend spraying your shoes with a protective spray a number of times before you wear them, especially if you decide to purchase the white or triple white option. It is also important that if you get any dirt on the shoes that you attempt to remove it as soon as possible to avoid staining.

Overall Thoughts

I truly believe that if you are in the market for a new pair of sneakers, you give these a try. They are one of my most comfortable pair of sneakers and provide me with the proper support I need if I have to be walking around a lot.  My rating on the Ultra Boosts would be a 9/10 as I wear these shoes almost all the time; weather permitting. I hope to be purchasing a new pair in the near future!
