Life Lessons by Kevin Hart

I can’t make this up: Life Lessons by Kevin Hart is the only book I have ever read that has made me laugh. I’m normally not interested in this genre of book ( Autobiography) but after I bought it for my father as a Christmas present, I ended up reading it before him. The book has unique humour where it’s easier to laugh about something because you might have been in the same situation.

But, in saying this, Kevin Hart’s family had it tougher than the average one. Kevin was always working to support himself as his dad was mostly out of the picture, his brother was a crack dealer and his mom had no money to spare. You may be asking yourself...so how do I relate to this? Well, when Kevin gets out of his small minded town he starts to have big dreams, but like anyone he makes stupid mistakes. Very stupid. The main thing I found interesting about this book is how motivating it is. The book is listed as a comedy so I was definitely not expecting a feeling of motivation or the mindset to never give up after finishing it.

As far as the rest of the book goes, it’s quite long and I still wish there was more. Hart doesn't struggle to miss any detail and is someone I would quite like to meet. You know how even though you don’t know someone you feel like you do? That’s me with Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart strikes me as someone is who kind and open but knows how to get business done and isn’t afraid to do it. He doesn’t seem scared to show his story as he presented every little brutal detail about his life and he seems like someone who cares about the well being of his friends and family very much even though he doesn’t show it all the time. I think that if a book can give you this much intel on a person and their life then it’s definitely worth reading.
