The War of the Three Lands

“People think we are the top of the food chain, the most intelligent, and that we look down on animals. As humans we see them and think ‘they just eat, sleep, and reproduce.’ But the truth is, they choose to hide things from us, they know more than us.” Ryan Miranda, Author.

Once upon a year in the 20th century, at the great Toronto Zoo, there was great division between the lands. A Cougar from the Eurasia Wilds, named Naki, killed one of the baby Polar Bears after going savage, and he was put down by the mother and father Polar Bears. This caused a division between the lands of the Zoo, it divided up as this: African Savanna allied with Indo-Malaya, the Canadian Domain Allied with the Americas and Tundra Trek, and finally, Eurasia Wilds stayed independent. The African Savanna was ruled by a Gorilla named George; the African Savanna-Indo-Malaya allies were by far the strongest in the Zoo; the most hungry for power.

The next century was quite quiet until the day everything fell apart. In May 2019 a Gorilla was born, called Charles; this was a royal baby Gorilla. A week later the Eurasia Wilds reported another Cougar missing and it was the grandson of Naki, the cougar who started the separation between the regions. That was the same night the baby Charles was reported missing, as well, and in the morning the baby Gorilla was found dead on the pathway between Africa and the Americas. They later found the Cougar drowned in a Polar Bear’s swimming area, this all happened the same day.

Day by day more and more Cougars were missing and eventually the other lands started to build up their defenses from information learned from their intel-animals.

One week after the Canadian Grizzly Bears on guard duty saw a figure in the dark around the boarder and attacked it, it turned out it was one of the Lemurs from Africa. This will not end well…
