The Shire is a mysterious, yet peaceful place inhabited with none other than hobbits. Small folk, but they live a lot longer than normal humans. Many stories and myths get passed around and these always please the hobbits as they never seem to grow tired of hearing the same story. If anyone has any new news it will be all over the Shire within a very short time. Just like how Mr. Bilbo has disappeared again…
Hobbits have their homes built under small hills. One could say as tall as the average human.
The folk here are quite cheerful. The only time when they aren’t being cheerful is when rumours of dangerous monsters or disasters get into the conversation. But most folk just snort it off.
