The Hockey Stickman is a Hockey Stick company based out of Mississauga, Ontario. The Hockey Stickman is a company that solely sells hockey sticks, like any other company in the stick business, it gets its products in bulks and from different companies, such as: Bauer, CCM, Warrior and True.
Why The Hockey Stickman
The Hockey Stickman is really set apart from other companies with the kinds of sticks they get. Sure, they get the same style of sticks, like the: 1X Lite, 2S Pro, QR Edge and the Nexus 1N; what sets them apart, however, is that they get these same sticks but in different colours, and for a great price.
For example, I got a hockey stick from the Stickman about 3 months ago. The stick I got was the Bauer Vapor 1X Lite; I got it for about $200, as the regular retail price is $330. But the price isn't what set it apart, the regular factory style of the stick is red, however at The Hockey Stickman, it gave me the freedom to pick a variety of colours, in which I got green.
Atmosphere
When you drive up to the complex the store is in, it almost seems like an old factory building, but once you find it, you can't miss it. The store is a greyish, blueish color with the big red Hockey Stickman logo on it. The hockey vibe doesn't really start until you step in the store however. The floor is a hockey rink with the red line and blue line facing up. There are hockey posters of sticks, players and equipment all over the walls and advertising the difference between them and their competitors. Overall, just a great hockey vibe.
