Do you enjoy going to the salon to get pampered? Do you look forward to that fresh set of acrylic nails each week? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this is the review for you. I recently attended my weekly nail appointment at Princess Nails Salon and Spa. Although I do go here regularly, it felt right to review my most recent experience. Not only was this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, I was able to get my nails done at top quality for the reasonable price of $60 (before tip).
On Tuesday, November 20th at around 5:45 pm, I made my way towards the nail salon at the corner of Appleby Line and Fairview Street. As I walked through the blistering cold wind, I began thinking about how I was going to have my nail technician design my nails. As I walked through the doors, I was immediately welcomed with warm smiles and “hellos”. I sat down in the comfy pink chair and rested both my hands in front of my nail technician. The typical nail salon smell of acetone filled the air. I watched as each customer left with a smile across their face. After about 90 minutes, my nails were done. I decided on an array of pink and sparkly nail polishes on each of my nails. Although the process is actually quite timely, it goes by quickly because it is so relaxing. My nail technician finished the service by massaging a warm lavender cream into my freshly polished hands. I stood up from my comfy chair and walked towards the front desk. After every appointment you are asked if you want a picture of your nails taken to be put on the Instagram page. I say yes (as always!) and posed my hands under the ring light. I handed the lady at the front desk three $20 bills to pay for my service and handed my nail technician an extra $10 as a tip. Moreover, the relaxation I felt throughout the service and the final product were well worth the money and the time out of my day.
In conclusion, if you enjoy the relaxation of getting your nails done, Princess Nails Salon and Spa is the place for you. The relaxing aromas, immensely talented nail technicians, and affordable prices will have you hooked for life. In reality, what more could you really ask for?
