I was walking through the hallways of my work at night, yes, I’m a night shift worker but something seemed off, not as usual. It was colder and emptier like someone stole, but maybe I’m noticing stuff I haven’t noticed again. My flashlight then flickered and shut off so I assumed it died and went to retrieve a new fresh charged battery. I go get a new one and throw out the old, I then swap them and turn on my flashlight only to be welcomed by a grey head poking out from the doorframe. I scream as it disappears. As it's my job I go after it only to see it wasn’t there in the first place...“am I going crazy? What’s going on?” I say.
My shift ends so I go home, but before that I give the next worker a note about what I saw. THEN I go home. I settle in bed and fall asleep after 5 seconds of rest.
The sun rose so I go to work and have a chat with my boss, I then say “I quit, I can’t deal with what I saw, I’m sorry. Sam can cover me”, my boss looked angry but he nodded as I left to get some food, my friend gave me a job I could join so why not? I get some Timmy’s and head to the work my friend suggested, I get hired and I start working. Bad news; I work at the supermarket now, how fun.

Sadly my boss went to me and said I have to stay overnight until 4AM so I do so as the sun sets, I then hear something fall so I go to it and pick up the tissue paper and put it back in its place. “Why does everything bad happen to meee?” I say with a whiny yet quiet voice as another thing fell, I got spooked but went to retrieve it and as I turned the corner to the aisle I was greeted to the same exact face, I stood in place as sweat trickled down my face and arms, I didn’t know on what was happening so I yelled and ran to where it disappeared only to see the normal aisles as I was breathing heavily and a bit panicked. I didn’t know if I was hallucinating or just being shook from what I saw at my old job or if it was real...so many questions echoed throughout my mind so I ran to the back.
All I saw were two long, grey and skinny arms unfolding from the darkness and grabbing the shelves, it moved forwards as my expression dropped. It was the face that was welcomed from the dark to the light, its chest was pale and grey too, as it had no legs but the face seemed to be in a screaming form, its arm slammed against me and grabbed me as it squeezed me tight then dropped me as it was high in the air, I gasped as I fainted and all I could remember was black...that’s the only thing I saw as I saw nothing else forever.
