Intro

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the second book of the Lord of the Rings series. The book starts off right after the events of the first book. This sequel brings many twists and more trouble than before as the fellowship come closer to even more dangerous places and even deadlier foes.

Twists

Throughout the book there were many unexpected twists that got me interested. From Gandalf unexpectedly coming back to life and Gollum helping Frodo and Sam instead of trying to steal the ring make this book all the more worth reading.

Problems in my opinion

The story is really good to the point where I consider it the best in the series. But that doesn’t take away the fact that the story feels like it just drags on where I just want to put down the book because it got too descriptive about its environments. This goes for all the books in the series as well. It’s good to give some atmosphere to your story but this is beyond any other book I have read.
