“ Jack’s face disappeared under a blush of mortification”
I can't believe I didn't get to be chief, this is outrageous I'm head leader of the choir boys I am the perfect fit. Piggy walked by as Jack’s face was still pale white. He mumbled under his breath.
‘So happy you're not chief, no one likes you’.
I looked at Piggy and said with the deepest voice I possibly could,
‘I beg your pardon.’
Piggy looked at me with great fear in his eye I thought to myself for a second, is it worth it ?
The answer inside my head was yes so I bursted out,
‘Your just happy I'm not chief or your fat pigish like body would be off this island.
Piggy looked frightened and as I lunged at him Ralph mysteriously popped out of nowhere and said:
‘Is there an issue that needs to be resolved?’
I spoke back to him as politely as I possibly could.
‘No sir no issue at all.’
As I stumbled away I thought to myself, that it would be a good idea to get some alone time. I started going up the mountain thinking if I should just jump and end it all, or be the bigger of the two people and try my best to fit in. When I reached the top I sat there looking over the edge an stared into the bright blue water, and the crystal clear sky. With the heat from the sun made me look like I just took a bath in my own sweat. I lay back and went into a deep sleep.
I dream about being back in my own home with my mother and father, and be the lead singer in the choir boys. Then it happened the dream turned into a nightmare, all I could see is an image of Ralph saying
‘ just try, just try, just try.’
Seconds after I’m awoke by a great big thud. They have found me I thought, they are going to kill me. I saw Jack walk upon me again. He placed the dry logs and dry leaves on the ground and said.
‘Oh so sorry it seems like I have awoke you.’
I replied
‘Not a problem, it seems like I have been sleeping in a fire pit.’
We both laughed, and from that point on we became the best of friends.
