It was my second week of school at Blyth Academy and I was enjoying English class. When I got to the school I walked to Mr. Cohen’s classroom, it all looked different. The classroom looked like it was where World War II took place and my teacher was not British anymore, he was French…
There was nobody here yet and Mr. Cohen looked like he was beaten up and his classroom looked worse: there was mud everywhere, the drywall was ripped off the walls and the carpet was tile. The clock was in reverse time and the sign had changed to htylB ymedacA. I finally figured out what was happening. I was in an alternate universe! I wondered how I had gotten here and I didn’t know so I sat down on the ground because there were no desks and waited to see if other people would arrive.
Finally, people started to arrive and they were confused like I was; they had no idea so I motioned for them to come over and I filled them in on what was happening. They didn’t believe me at first but when they saw Mr. Cohen they started to believe me. Mr. Cohen’s sign wasn’t English, it had turned to Math and when we tried to talk to him we couldn’t understand because we didn’t know French that well. I proposed an idea to go see if Madam would be able to translate for us but if this was an alternate dimension she would speak English instead of French.
We had no idea of what was going on so we walked out of the school to see if anything would revert back to normal, but it didn’t…
