Grade 10 Street Art Pop-Up Sale - coming soon!

Our very own Grade 10 Blyth Academy Art students have taken it upon themselves to bring awareness to issues that are happening in our society today. They have done this by creating their very own street art designs, and each is based around a social message. You may be asking yourself, how does this impact me? Well, you can help!

On June 12th -13th there will be t-shirts sold at $5 per piece, or the prints for only $2: we'll see you in the Student Lounge! Be there, or be square.

Some of the issues these students are choosing to tackle are: climate change, environmentalism, animal testing, and respect for war veterans. Did you know every year one million marine animals die due to plastic consumption? Nearly all types of sea turtles are going extinct because of the pollutants going  into our very own oceans.

We may well have a future Banksy in the grade 10 class - or maybe even one of them is Banksy? Be there to support the Art class, and who knows, you may even solve the mystery of who Banksy really is...
