BMW X6M

Innovation. Class. Luxury. Germany engineering at it’s finest. The sleek lines, a plush interior and a belligerent hood-scoop, as it intrigues cars within its vicinity. The continuous amount of aerodynamics throughout the SUV allow it to accelerate as fast as Boeing 747. It’s powered by a 567-hp-twin-turbo V-8. An eight-speed tiptronic and all-wheel drive standard, giving owners a decision, allowing them to give up to 100 percent of torque to either the front or rear wheels. The X6M, BMW’s M division sports-utility-vehicle that knows how to defy the laws of physics. Moreover, i’ve decided to categorized important driving characteristics to individuals seeking for an ambitious less-practical SUV.

Driving:

Driving a 5200+lb SUV with sporting intention, forces BMW to make certain adjustments within their suspension. The sufficiently revised air suspension within the second generation of the X6M: allows for a smooth ride under duress of hard cornering. The steering, known as BMW’s long problem is slowly being revoked due to the power of electric power assistance with the weighted steering; allows driver’s with full comfort, along side full control. The massive body contradicts physics, as the large SUV is handling/feelings more akin to a lightweight sports-sedan, such as BMW’s F90 M5.

Performance:

Under the X6M’s hood, drivers’ will be greeted by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 ; that is willing to be abused on the track. The X6M gets a massive power output of 567 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Due to BMW’s advanced technology, the power is distributed to all four-wheels via BMW’s xDrive system, paired alongside an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox. The X6M lives up to its high-set bar it’s set for itself; 0-100km/h arising in less than 4 seconds, whilst it’s stainless-steel quad-exhaust pipes roars at it’s competitors in the rear-view mirror.

Interior:

The interior design and layout bears a strong family ancestry: making it easy to get familiarized with. Supportive M sport seats offer excellent comfort, with a sporty driving position up-front, keeping drivers in their seat-still as they hurtle through the track. However, rearward visibility suffers as drivers are forced to pay the price for the oblique orientated rear-roof-line. However, the suitable comfort, and material qualities are far more superior than what is offered in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk, or Range Rover SVR.

Verdict:

The BMW X6M trades practically for outright performance. It lacks the job of actually being an SUV, lacks the rear seat and trunk space. You buy an X6M to tear roads apart in the most absurd way possible. For practically I would not recommend this car to families looking to have a practical SUV. However, for car enthusiasts looking for an adrenaline rush as their cup of coffee, I would recommend the BMW X6M a 10/10 for car enthusiasts willing to pay the brutal price-tag and experience a vehicle they never have before.
