Toronto native Navraj Singh Goraya, or better known as Nav, has just dropped a new Hip-Hop album called “Bad Habits”. Nav is not like any other Rapper or Hip-Hop artist, Nav has his own unique sound and exclusive flow. This album captures Nav’s struggles growing up in Rexdale and goes beyond anything anyone ever expected.

Starting with the track list, Nav opens his album with “To My Grave” followed by “I’m Ready” and “Taking Chances”. These three songs are amazing openers and really grab the audience/listeners attention. The beats and instrumentals are amazing and very unique. When Nav comes in with his auto tune the track is lifted to a new level. All these songs are very pleasant to the ear and will make you bumps your head to the beat. Just with the first three tracks you will already be wanting more.

Next, Nav has 5 features on his album. The first feature with Meek Mill on the track “Tap” manages to capture both Meek Mill’s and Nav’s talent. Then Nav drops a track called “Hold Your Breath” with Gunna. Meek Mill and Gunna are probably the biggest features since Meek Mill dropped his album “Champion” in 2018, and Gunna dropped an album with Lil Baby. Both of them received a lot of publicity from it. After that Nav drops a track with Young Thug, Lil Durk and The Weeknd. I love the song with Young Thug called “Tussin” and I also Love the song with The Weeknd called “Price on My Head”. But the song with Lil Durk named “Time Piece” I am not a fan of because I don’t think their flows or sounds match each other. Otherwise I am happy with the rest of the features.

Overall, I am very pleased and happy with this album. He also dropped “Bad Habits Deluxe” which is just some extra tracks that are amazing! I think he should of swapped out some of the songs that are on the album with the ones that are only included on the deluxe version. In conclusion, this album satisfied me and many other listeners. Nav is very talented and I think he took it to the next level with this album. I can’t wait to hear what come’s from Nav in the future. He can only go up from here.
