“Hello out there, we're on the air, it's 'Hockey Night' tonight. Tension grows, the whistle blows, and the puck goes down the ice”.

Do you know what time of year it is? It’s playoff hockey time. This year is going to be brutal, full of tears and cheers, but most importantly, good sportsmanship. In my opinion this year’s playoff matchups will be like nothing the NHL has seen before. We have underdogs playing the top competitors.

This year we have Tampa Bay Lightning, who is in first with a whopping 128 point season.

The closest team to them is the best Canadian team out there, the Calgary Flames with a

franchise record breaker at 107 points. Will the Lightning be able to take it all the way or will

there be a big upset in the first round against Columbus Blue Jackets.

In my opinion I think no team comes close to the talent level that Tampa poses. The official

website of the NHL states that the two top point leaders in the NHL are Nikita Kucherov at 128 points and Steven Stamkos at 120 points. Both huge contributors to the Lightning. With that being, I believe that Tampa has what it takes to win the Stanley Cup but they can't quit and need their star players to be at the top of their game. Who do you think will win the almighty Stanley Cup?

“And the best game you can name, is the good ol' Hockey game”.
